Niniejsza praca dyplomowa skupia się na analizie ekonomicznych skutków pandemii COVID-19 dla przedsiębiorstw w branży lotniczej, z wykorzystaniem metody analizy danych wtórnych oraz studium przypadku Polskich Linii Lotniczych LOT. Praca ma na celu zrozumienie, jak sektor lotniczy, będący jednym z najbardziej dotkniętych przez pandemię, poradził sobie z wyzwaniami ekonomicznymi. Analiza obejmuje zmiany w ruchu pasażerskim, zatrudnieniu, działalności linii lotniczych oraz przewozach cargo, dostarczając wgląd w adaptacyjne strategie przedsiębiorstw lotniczych w obliczu globalnych zmian. It uses a secondary data analysis method and a case study of LOT Polish Airlines. The focus of the thesis is to understand how the aviation sector, which was one of the sectors most affected by the pandemic, coped with the economic challenges it faced. The analysis covers changes in passengers, employment, flying operations and cargo. It provides an insight into the strategies of adaptation adopted by airline companies in the face of global change. It also addresses changes in consumer preferences and management strategies that may affect the industry's future.
