Obecny tom czasopisma ukazującego się od zeszłego roku pod zmienioną nazwą Studia Iberica nosi tytuł „Między światem iberyjskim i słowiańskim”. Początkowo chodziło nam o przybliżenie tych dwóch krańców Europy, ale w trakcie prac nad bieżącym numerem kresy świata iberyjskiego przesunęły się na antypody. Świat iberyjski w szerokim tego słowa znaczeniu, czyli świat hiszpańsko- i portugalskojęzyczny, to także, a może przede wszystkim, Ameryka Południowa.Wszystkie opublikowane teksty poprzedzone są streszczeniami w języku artykułu (hiszpańskim lub portugalskim) oraz w języku angielskim. Niniejszy wstęp po polsku dedykujemy natomiast tym z Państwa, którzy nie obcują na co dzień z językami romańskimi: być może to zwięzłe przybliżenie zawartości tomu 24 zachęci Państwa do zgłębienia przedstawionej tematyki, a nawet, kto wie, nauki nowego języka...Autorki i Autorzy tego tomu to pracownicy naukowi z odległych ośrodków zagranicznych (argentyńskie Rosario, brazylijska Kurytyba), ale także czeskiej Pragi i, już zupełnie blisko, uniwersytetów w Lublinie, Gdańsku czy Krakowie. Ich artykuły budują mosty między obecnymi w tytule dwoma światami. Pięć tekstów porusza tematy literackie, cztery– językoznawcze, ostatni– wbrew pozorom– też wpisuje się w naszą ideę mostu, chociaż z zupełnie innego powodu.

The current volume of the journal, published since last year under the changed name Studia Iberica, is entitled "Between the Iberian and Slavic Worlds". Initially, we wanted to bring these two ends of Europe closer, but during the work on the current issue, the borderlands of the Iberian world moved to the antipodes. The Iberian world in the broad sense of the word, i.e. the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking world, is also, and perhaps above all, South America. All published texts are preceded by summaries in the language of the article (Spanish or Portuguese) and in English. This introduction in Polish is dedicated to those of you who do not deal with Romance languages ​​on a daily basis: perhaps this concise presentation of the contents of volume 24 will encourage you to delve deeper into the presented topics, or even, who knows, learn a new language... The authors of this volume are academics from distant foreign centers (Rosario in Argentina, Curitiba in Brazil), but also from Prague in the Czech Republic and, quite close by, universities in Lublin, Gdańsk or Kraków. Their articles build bridges between the two worlds presented in the title. Five texts deal with literary topics, four with linguistic topics, and the last one - contrary to appearances - also fits into our idea of ​​a bridge, although for a completely different reason.
