The work deals with the Airbnb website, a platform that mediates the provision of apartments to tourists for a short period of time. The website is inseparably connected with the idea of the sharing economy, which is devoted to one of the chapters of the work. The aim of the publication is to analyze the impact of Airbnb on European cities and their communities. It discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the platform and presents regulations aimed at reducing the negative effects of Airbnb's operation.
