Tematem pracy licencjackiej jest mit „niewinnego” Wehrmachtu na postawie opowiadania Heinricha Bölla pod tytułem „Todesursache: Hakennase”. W pierwszym rozdziale przedstawiona zostaje pokrótce epoka literacka, w której powstał utwór, oraz zadania, jakie stały przed powojennymi pisarzami. Praca analizuje opowiadanie pod względem treści oraz formy, zwraca uwagę na styl autora oraz używane przez niego środki stylistyczne. Dodatkowo badane są także konkretne środki użyte w opowiadaniu, za pomocą których autor obala mit o niemieckim wojsku. W rozdziale analitycznym opisywana jest też cała konstelacja bohaterów pojawiających się w opowiadaniu, szczególnie skupiająca się na głównym bohaterze, który jest kluczem do zrozumienia przekazu dzieła. Oprócz tego praca zawiera osobny rozdział poświęcony samej legendzie. Odbiorca może poznać historyczne przyczyny powstania mitu, proces wprowadzania go do opinii publicznej oraz sposoby zwalczania tego nieprawdziwego przekonania. Przedostatni rozdział traktuje o tym, jak opowiadanie zostało przyjęte przez krytyków. Co ważne, rozdział traktuje też o możliwych przyczynach późnej publikacji opowiadania, 36 lat po jego napisaniu. Ostatni rozdział zawiera wnioski końcowe.

The subject of this BA thesis is the myth of the 'innocent' Wehrmacht on the basis of Heinrich Böll's short story 'Todesursache: Hakennase". The first chapter briefly introduces the literary period in which the work was written and the tasks facing post-war writers. The research analyses the short story in terms of content and form, paying attention to the author's style and the stylistic devices he used. In addition, the specific means used in the story, with which the author refutes the myth of the German army, are also examined. The analytical chapter also describes the whole constellation of characters appearing in the short story, particularly focusing on the main character, who is the key to understanding the message of the work. In addition, the work contains a separate chapter devoted to the legend itself. The reader can learn about the historical reasons for the creation of the myth, the process of its introduction to public opinion and the ways of combating this false belief. The penultimate chapter deals with how the story was received by critics. Importantly, the chapter also deals with the possible reasons for the story's late publication, 36 years after it was written. The last chapter icludes final conclusions and observations.

Das Thema dieser Bachelorarbeit ist die Dekonstruktion des Mythos der ,sauberen’ Wehrmacht in Heinrich Bölls Erzählung „Todesursache: Hackennase“ Das erste Kapitel gibt eine kurze Einführung in die literarische Epoche, in der das Werk entstanden ist, und in die Aufgaben, die sich den Schriftstellern der Nachkriegszeit stellten. Die Arbeit analysiert die Kurzgeschichte in inhaltlicher und formaler Hinsicht, wobei Bezug auf den Stil des Autors und die von ihm verwendeten Stilmittel nimmt. Darüber hinaus enthält das Werk ein eigenes Kapitel, das der Legende über die Wehrmacht selbst gewidmet ist. Der Leser kann sich über die historischen Gründe für die Entstehung des Mythos, den Prozess seiner Einführung in die öffentliche Meinung informieren. Im vorletzten Kapitel handelt es sich darum, wie die Geschichte von den Kritikern aufgenommen wurde. Das Kapitel befasst sich auch mit den Gründen für die späte Veröffentlichung der Geschichte.
