Building an interorganizational network on the example of the Goethe Institute in Cracow

W niniejszej pracy magisterskiej poruszana jest problematyka budowania sieci międzyorganizacyjnej, na przykładzie jednej, szczególnej instytucji, jaką jest Instytut Goethego. Celem pracy jest przedstawienie charakterystyki sieci współpracy zbudowanej przez Instytut Goethego oraz zidentyfikowanie założonych korzyści płynących dla organizacji z funkcjonowania w ramach sieci. Analiza tych zagadnień poprzedzona jest opisaniem definicji sieci międzyorganizacyjnej oraz przedstawieniem działań instytucji kultury w Polsce oraz w Niemczech. Oba kraje były ważnym elementem dla tej pracy, gdyż działalność Instytutu Goethego łączy się w promowaniu współpracy polsko-niemieckiej oraz wspiera działalność kulturową w Krakowie i okolicach. Wychodzi naprzeciw problemom stojącym przed współczesną Europą. Sieć międzyorganizacyjna została zidentyfikowana od strony Instytutu Goethego, jak i również współpracujących z nim partnerów.

This thesis addresses the issue of building an interorganizational network, on the example of one particular institution, which is the Goethe Institute. The aim of this thesis is to present the characteristic of network and cooperation built by Goethe Institute and to identify the benefits for the organization from their actions. The analysis of these issues is preceded by describing of definition of interorganizational network and presentation of activities of cultural institutions in Poland and Germany. Both countries were important elements for this thesis. Goethe Institute promotes the Polish-German cooperation and supports cultural activities in Cracow and nearby areas. The organization faces to the problems from modern Europe. The interorganizational network has beed identified from the side of Goethe Institute as well as from his partners.
