Tęsknoty i poszukiwania w Hermanna Hesse „Siddhartha" i „Podróż na Wschód"

The longings and searchs in Hermann Hesse novels “Siddhartha” and “Die Morgenlandfahrt” .

Tematem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej są zarówno poszukiwania jak i tęsknoty u Hermanna Hesse na przykładzie jego dzieł „Siddhartha” oraz „Die Morgenlandfahrt”. Utwory te zasługują na szczególną uwagę, ze względu na to, iż ich tematyka nawiązuje nie tylko do okresu dwudziestolecia międzywojennego, lecz również do współczesności. Przedmiotem badań tejże pracy jest odnalezienie odpowiedzi na pytanie: Czy bohaterom wymienionych powyżej utworów udało się osiągnąć wyznaczony sobie przez nich cel. Ponadto został również ukazany przebieg wędrówki, jaką owe postacie podejmują, i która jest swoistą próbą odnalezienia odpowiedzi na dręczące ich pytania. Podczas owej podróży pojawiają się liczne problemy a bohaterami targają niejednokrotnie wewnętrzne rozterki, co również zostało ukazane w pracy.

The thesis is concerned with the search and longing in Hermann Hesse novels “Siddhartha” and “Die Morgenlandfahrt” . The novels are worth to focus on because they are concerned with the interwar period as well as with the contemporary times. The thesis aim is to find answer, whether the protagonists of the novels achieved their aims. Moreover, the thesis shows the wanderings of the protagonists, which at the same time are attempts to find besetting them questions. During those journeys there will appear several problems and the protagonists will be tormented by internal dilemmas, which was acknowledged in the thesis.

Das Thema der vorliegenden Magisterarbeit die Sehnsucht und Suche in Hermann Hesses „Siddhartha“ und „Die Morgenlandfahrt“. Die Erforschung dieser beiden Prosadichtungen ist wichtig, weil das Motiv der Sehnsucht und Suche nicht nur ein Thema des 20.Jahrhunderts war, sondern es ist auch ein aktuelles Thema in der gegenwärtigen Zeit. Es werden hier sowohl die Objekte der Sehnsucht und Suche in diesen Werken erforscht, als auch die Fragen beantwortet, ob die Protagonisten, die eben die Suchenden sind, an ihre Ziele gelangen und welche Wege sie gehen müssen um dies zu erreichen. Auf diese Fragen versuche ich anhand der Analyse der beiden Werke zu beantworten.
