Domestykacja w polskim tłumaczeniu kreskówki „Rick i Morty” w wersji dubbingowej

Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza domestykacji jako głównej strategii w tłumaczeniu dubbingowym na przykładzie polskiego tłumaczenia kreskówki „Rick i Morty”. W pierwszym rozdziale został przedstawiony serial oraz główni bohaterowie. Drugi rozdział pracy przedstawia pojęcie domestykacji w przekładzie oraz zawiera opis strategii tłumaczeniowych w przypadku elementów kulturowych. Dalsza część rozdziału teoretycznego skupia się na dubbingu jako jednym z rodzajów przekładu audiowizualnego. Ostatni rozdział pracy zawiera analizę przykładów domestykacji, które pojawiły się w dwóch ostatnich sezonach kreskówki.

The purpose of this dissertation is to analyze domestication as the main strategy in dubbing translation as exemplified by the cartoon “Rick and Morty”. The first chapter presents the cartoon, its phenomenon and position in the popular culture and describes the main characters. The second chapter contains the theoretical issues – in the first part of the chapter, there is an introduction of the term domestication and translation techniques in the case of cultural elements. The latter part of the theoretical chapter focuses on dubbing as a subtype of audiovisual translation. The third chapter of the dissertation is an analysis of the examples of domestication in the last two seasons of the cartoon.
