Learning process on the example of students from Institute of Sociology of the Jagiellonian University

Praca porusza tematykę uczenia się na przykładzie studentów socjologii Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. Celem było prześledzenie procesu uczenia się, na który składają się 3 główne elementy: właściwości osoby uczącej się, sytuacja uczenia się oraz właściwości osoby uczącej. Każdy z tych elementów został wyróżniony w trakcie badania, aby odpowiedzieć na pytanie, jak przebiega proces uczenia się wśród badanych. W badaniu poruszono kwestie: 1) sposobów/strategii uczenia się wykorzystywanych przez studentów, 2) ich postaw wobec uczenia się, 3) czynników utrudniających/usprawniających uczenie się oraz 4) roli uczących. Dodatkowym wątkiem była analiza wpływu uczelnianej organizacji procesu dydaktycznego na uczenie się. Analizę przeprowadzono odwołując się do literatury z zakresu psychologii uczenia się oraz do współczesnej refleksji na temat edukacji i przemian w dziedzinie uczenia się.

The work touches upon topic of learning on the example of students from Institute of Sociology of the Jagiellonian University. The aim was to describe the learning process which consists of 3 main elements: attributes of person who learns, situation of learning and attributes of person who teaches. Each of these elements was distinguished in the research in order to answer the question of what is the course of learning process among subjects. Issues taken into consideration in the research were: 1) ways/strategies of learning used by students, 2) their attitudes towards learning, 3) factors negatively/positively influencing learning process and 4) the role of teaching persons. There was also the additional issue considering influence of Institutes's organization of didactic process on learning. The analysis was conducted refering to literature in the field of psychology of learning and contemporary reflection over education and changes in the area of learning.
