THE ARCHITECTURE OF COLLECTIVE SECURITY IN EUROPE FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE EUROPEAN UNION AND RUSSIA

Praca przedstawia aktualny kształt instytucjonalny architektury bezpieczeństwa zbiorowego w Europie. Opisany został historyczny ekskurs i okoliczności formułowania europejskiego systemu bezpieczeństwa po drugiej wojnie światowej. W pracy również przeanalizowany został stosunek do istniejących i postulowanych modeli ładu instytucjonalnego. Opisane są, bieżące wyzwania w relacjach UE – Rosja, jako kontekst odmiennych wizji bezpieczeństwa zbiorowego w Europie w drugiej dekadzie 21. wieku. Poniższe studium pokazuje też, jak w dyskursie unijnym i w koncepcjach rosyjskich wygląda model bezpieczeństwa zbiorowego w przyszłości.

The study presents the current shape of the institutional architecture of collective security in Europe. Describes the history and circumstances of forming the European security system after World War II. The study also analyzes the ratio of existing and requested institutional governance models. Described are the current challenges in EU - Russia relations, as the context different visions of collective security in Europe in the second decade of the 21st century. This study also shows how the discourse of the EU and Russian concepts looks in a model of collective security in the future.
