The Development of Agritourism in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship - the Example of the Commune of Skała

Praca magisterska zatytułowana "Rozwój agroturystyki na terenie województwa małopolskiego na przykładzie gminy Skała" analizuje dynamiczny rozwój sektora agroturystycznego w regionie województwa małopolskiego, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem gminy Skała. Celem pracy jest zidentyfikowanie kluczowych czynników wpływających na rozwój agroturystyki oraz ocena jej wpływu na lokalną gospodarkę i społeczność. W pracy zastosowano metody badawcze, takie jak analiza literatury przedmiotu, ankiety z mieszkańcami gminy Skała, wywiady wśród turystów oraz analiza danych statystycznych. Wyniki badań wskazują, że gmina Skała posiada znaczący potencjał agroturystyczny, dzięki bogactwu naturalnych zasobów, atrakcji kulturalnych oraz dogodnemu położeniu geograficznemu. Rozwój agroturystyki przyczynia się do zróżnicowania źródeł dochodów mieszkańców, wspiera ochronę środowiska oraz promuje dziedzictwo kulturowe regionu. Analiza wykazała również, że istnieje potrzeba dalszego wsparcia infrastrukturalnego oraz promocji, aby w pełni wykorzystać potencjał agroturystyczny regionu. Praca kończy się zestawem rekomendacji dla lokalnych władz i przedsiębiorców, mających na celu wzmocnienie i zrównoważony rozwój agroturystyki w gminie Skała, co może stanowić modelowy przykład dla innych regionów województwa Małopolskiego.

The Master's thesis entitled "The Development of Agritourism in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship - the Example of the Commune of Skała" analyses the dynamic growth of the agritourism sector in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship, with a special focus on the commune of Skała. The aim of the thesis is to identify the key factors influencing the development of agritourism and to assess its impact on the local economy and community. The research methods used include literature review, interviews with agritourism farm owners, surveys of tourists and statistical data analysis. The results of the research indicate that the Skała commune has significant agritourism potential due to its rich natural resources, cultural attractions and favourable geographical location. The development of agritourism contributes to the diversification of the income sources of the inhabitants, supports the conservation of the environment and promotes the cultural heritage of the region. The analysis also revealed the need for further infrastructural support and promotion to fully exploit the agritourism potential of the area. The thesis concludes with a set of recommendations for local authorities and entrepreneurs aimed at strengthening and sustainably developing agritourism in the Skała commune, which can serve as a model for other regions in Lesser Poland.
