Impact of inflation on society's household budget

Praca magisterska dotyczy wpływu inflacji na budżet domowy społeczeństwa. Wybór tej tematyki był spowodowany wzrostem cen towarów i usług konsumpcyjnych w ostatnim okresie. Celem pracy oraz przeprowadzonego badania było szersze zapoznanie się z tematyką inflacji, oraz poznanie opinii społeczeństwa na temat aktualnej sytuacji gospodarczej kraju, a w szczególności jak bardzo wpłynął na ich budżet obecny wzrost cen. W pierwszym rozdziale zostało przedstawione pojęcie inflacji, jej rodzaje, przyczyny powstawania, a także skutki jakie za sobą niesie. W kolejnej części opisano rolę Narodowego Banku Polskiego, jakie czynności powinien podjąć w ramach walki z inflacją, ponadto przedstawiono działania podjęte przez rząd w celu minimalizowania skutków inflacji. Na koniec tej części zostały przedstawione dane statystyczne obrazujące aktualny poziom wskaźnika inflacji. W ostatnich dwóch częściach pracy została przedstawiona metodologia badania empirycznego oraz wyniki i analiza przeprowadzonego badania ankietowego.

The master's thesis is concerned with the impact of inflation on society's household budget. The choice of this topic was due to the increase in prices of consumer goods and services in the recent period. The purpose of the thesis and the survey conducted was to learn more about the topic of inflation, and to find out the public's opinion on the current economic situation in the country, and how much the current price increase has affected their budget. In the first section, the concept of inflation, its types, the causes of its formation, as well as the consequences it brings with it were presented. The next section describes the role of the National Bank of Poland, what actions it should take to fight inflation, in addition, the measures taken by the government to minimize the effects of inflation are presented. At the end of this part, statistical data showing the current level of the inflation rate were presented. The last two parts of the thesis present the methodology of the empirical study and the results and analysis of the survey conducted.
