Local transport management. Action research in the Siepraw Commune.

Celem pracy jest przedstawienie wyników zrealizowanego badania w działaniu. Problem badawczy dotyczył tego w jaki sposób poprawić zarządzanie transportem lokalnym w Gminie Siepraw. Metody wykorzystane podczas realizacji badań to wywiady, ankieta i obserwacja. W pracy prócz literatury przedstawiono przebieg procesu badawczego oraz wyniki badań dotyczące poprawy zarządzania transportem lokalnym. Metodę obserwacji wybrałam, ponieważ jestem mieszkanką Gminy Siepraw i od wielu lat korzystam z transportu publicznego. Moje bezpośrednie rozumienie problemu pomogło mi w kluczowy sposób opisać problem badawczy dotyczący zarządzania transportem lokalnym na terenie Gminy Siepraw. Wyniki badań pokazują, że Gmina Siepraw dopiero od 2024 roku podejmuje działania w celu poprawy i rozwoju transportu lokalnego na terenie jednostki, jednak istnieją obszary wymagające dalszej poprawy oraz rozwoju. Rekomendowane działania obejmują przede wszystkim zatrudnienie osoby zarządzającej do planowania, organizacji oraz kontroli transportu lokalnego, regularne zbieranie opinii mieszkańców dotyczące planowanych i wdrażanych działań – w szczególności zwrócenia uwagi na ich potrzeby oraz promowanie dostępnych linii przewozowych, aby społeczność lokalna miała odpowiedni dostęp do tych informacji.

The aim of the work is to present the results of the completed action research. The research problem concerned how to improve the management of local transport in the Siepraw Commune. The methods used in the research were interviews, survey and observation. In addition to the literature, the work presents the course of the research process and the results of the research on improving the management of local transport. I chose the observation method because I am a resident of the Siepraw Commune and have been using public transport for many years. My direct understanding of the problem helped me to describe the research problem regarding the management of local transport in the Siepraw Commune in a key way. The research results show that the Siepraw Commune has been taking actions to improve and develop local transport in the unit only since 2024, but there are areas that require further improvement and development. The recommended actions include primarily hiring a manager to plan, organize and control local transport, regularly collecting residents' opinions on planned and implemented activities - in particular, paying attention to their needs and promoting available transport lines so that the local community has adequate access to this information.
