Niniejsza praca poświęcona jest noweli ”Snöblandat regn” autorstwa Ninni Holmqvist. Głównym celem pracy jest analiza struktur narracyjnych, które występują w noweli. Analiza narratologiczna oparta jest na strukturalistycznym modelu francuskiego badacza Gérarda Genetta, który wyróżnił trzy główne narratologiczne kategorie: historia, opowiadanie i narracja. Analiza uzupełniona jest pracami innych badaczy: Wayne Booth, Shlomith Rimmon-Kenan etc. Praca podzielona jest na pięć rozdziałów. Pierwszy z nich poświęcony jest przedstawieniu twórczości Ninni Holmqvist, wcześniejszych analiz jej dzieł oraz strukturalistycznego modelu Genetta wraz z wszystkimi kategoriami. Drugi, trzeci oraz czwarty rozdział to analiza noweli w oparciu o kategorie: czasu, trybu oraz instancji narracyjnej wraz z ich poszczególnymi aspektami. Piąty rozdział to podsumowanie przeprowadzonej analizy oraz wnioski.

This thesis is about the short story "Snöblandat regn" written by Ninni Holmqvist. The main aim of this thesis is to analyze narrative structures which are in the short story. The narrative analysis is based on the structural model of the French researcher Gérard Genette, who distinguished three main narrative categories: story, discourse and narration. The analysis is supplemented by studies of other theoreticians: Wayne Booth, Shlomith Rimmon-Kenan etc. This thesis is divided into five chapters. The first one is about Ninni Holmqvist’s literary work, previous analyzes of her works and Genette’s structural model with all its categories. The second, third and fourth chapter is the analysis of the short story based on categories: time, mode and narrative voice with their individual aspects. The fifth chapter is a summary of the analysis carried out and conclusions.
