DPRK's propaganda policy tools with particular focus on the 1980s films

Niniejsza praca zajmuje się problemem indoktrynacji mieszkańców Koreańskiej Republiki Ludowo-Demokratycznej. Analizuje używane przez rząd północnokoreański narzędzia propagandy oraz ich wpływ na percepcję Koreańczyków. Praca opisuje samo zjawisko indoktrynacji oraz sposób w jaki wdrażana jest w życie codzienne mieszkańców Korei Północnej. Rząd północnokoreański już od najmłodszych lat manipuluje życiem oraz myślami swoich obywateli i ta praca ma na celu przybliżenie czytelnikom tego problemu. Pierwszy rozdział skupia się na historii KRLD, opisuje wydarzenia od czasu odzyskania niepodległości po drugiej wojnie światowej, aż do czasów współczesnych. Przedstawia również rozwój idei propagandowych w kraju. W rozdziale drugim analizowane są narzędzia propagandy, takie jak: oficjalne instytucje, edukacja, media, czy sztuka plakatu. A także ich wpływ na życie przeciętnego mieszkańca KRLD. Trzeci rozdział w całości poświęcony jest kinematografii północnokoreańskiej. Interpretuje przesłanki ideologiczne zawarte w filmie oraz możliwy odbiór analizowanych dzieł kinematografii północnokoreańskiej poprzez użyte w nich metafory oraz symbolikę.

This work deals with the problem of indoctrination of people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. It analyzes propaganda tools used by the North Korean government and their impact on the Koreans' perception. The work describes the very phenomenon of indoctrination and the way it is implemented in the daily life of North Koreans. The North Korean government has been manipulating the lives and thoughts of its citizens from an early age, and this work aims to bring the problem closer to readers. The first chapter focuses on the history of the DPRK, describes events from the time of regaining independence after World War II, up to modern times. It also presents the development of propaganda ideology. In chapter two, propaganda tools such as official institutions, education, media, and poster art are analyzed. And also impact of the propaganda on the life of an average DPRK resident. The third chapter is entirely devoted to North Korean cinematography. It interprets the ideological premises contained in the film and the possible reception of the analyzed North Korean cinematography works through the metaphors and symbolism used in them.
