Telecast in the world and in Poland - selected issues

Celem pracy jest ukazanie wybranych zagadnień dotyczących transmisji telewizyjnych w Polsce i na świecie. Problematyka ta przedstawiona jest w oparciu o transmisje z meczów piłkarskich. Trzon pracy stanowią trzy węzłowe zagadnienia podzielone na rozdziały. w rozdziale 1 omawiana jest dystrybucja transmisji w aspekcie prawa wspólnotowego, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem prawa konkurencji. Przedstawiono tutaj dwa modele sprzedaży praw telewizyjnych: indywidualny i kolektywny. W rozdziale 2 ukazano problematykę związaną z prawem do krótkiego sprawozdania. Rozdział 3 to kwestie związane z wydarzeniami o zasadniczym znaczeniu społecznym. W rozdziale tym znajdują się liczne poglądy autora na temat zmian w ustawie o radiofonii i telewizji. Każdy rozdział, jak i całą pracę wieńczy podsumowanie poczynionych ustaleń.

The thesis aims to present selected issues concerning telecast in the world and in Poland. This thesis is based on broadcasting football matches. The core of the considerations are three main aspects divided into chapters. The subject of the Chapter 1 is the distribution of transmissions in the light of Community law, especially – competition law. There were shown 2 models of marketing TV rights: individual selling and collective selling. The Chapter 2 concerns the right to short reporting. The Chapter 3 relates to the events of major importance for society. In this Chapter there are presented numerous author’s notions on amendments of the Polish Broadcasting Act. Both each chapter and the whole thesis concludes with a short summary.
