Extradition between the United States and Mexico on the example of Humberto Alvarez Machain and Joaquin Guzman Loera

Tematem pracy jest ekstradycja między Stanami Zjednoczonymi a Meksykiem na przykładzie Humberto Alvarez Machaina i Joaquina Guzmana Loera. Ze względu na brak szczegółowej monografii w wybranych krajach, autorka przeanalizowała wybrane aspekty ekstradycji w Stanach Zjednoczonych i Meksyku. Celem badania było poznanie historii ekstradycji w prawie międzynarodowym i jej współzależności z państwami. W omawianym okresie miało miejsce kilka istotnych wydarzeń mających wpływ na sytuację geopolityczną i zmiany w prawie międzynarodowym. Oba omawiane państwa dążą do poszerzenia swoich stosunków dyplomatycznych, w tym działania poza swoim zasięgiem terytorialnym. Analizując wybrane aspekty ekstradycji autorka chciała zaobserwować, w jaki sposób ekstradycja odbywa się do i ze Stanów Zjednoczonych oraz czy meksykańska ekstradycja jest podobna do amerykańskiej.

The subject of the thesis is extradition between the United States and Mexico using the example of Humberto Alvarez Machain and Joaquin Guzman Loera. Due to the lack of a detailed monographs in the selected countries, the author analyzed selected aspects of extradition in the United States and Mexico. The purpose of the thesis was to learn about the history of extradition in international law and its interdependence with countries. During the period under review, there were several significant events affecting the geopolitical situation and changes in international law. Both countries in question are striving to expand their diplomatic relations, including operations beyond their territorial scope. By analyzing selected aspects of extradition, the author wanted to observe how the extradition takes place to and from the United States and whether the Mexican extradition is similar to the American extradition.
