Questionnaire as a tool for conducting survey research : an example of a survey questionnaire conducted among secondary school students in Małopolska

W rozdziale przedstawiony został kwestionariusz ankiety zastosowany w ramach projektu badawczego pt. Wybory samorządowe w Polsce w 2024 roku w świadomości najmłodszego elektoratu województwa małopolskiego. Po przedstawieniu celów i hipotez opisano poszczególne pytania, ich rodzaj, strukturę, jak też układ kwestionariusza ankiety. Przedstawiono zatem dobór próby respondentów, profil grupy docelowej, miejsce i czas przeprowadzenia badań. Podkreśla się, że dane badania mają charakter pilotażowy. Mają one zatem na celu nie tylko weryfikację eksplikowanych hipotez badawczych wśród badanej części populacji regionu Małopolskiego, ale także sprawdzenie poprawności i adekwatności zastosowanego narzędzia do przeprowadzonych badań. W opinii autorów wyniki uzyskane w ramach projektu stanowić będą podstawę do dal-szych, o wiele bardziej pogłębionych badań poświęconych omawianej tematyce.

The chapter presents the survey questionnaire used within the research project titled: ‘Local government elections in Poland in 2024 in the awareness of the youngest electorate of the Małopolska Voivodeship’. After presenting the aims and hypotheses, the individual questions, their type, structure as well as the layout of the survey questionnaire were described. Thus, the selection of the sam-ple of respondents, the profile of the target group, the place and time of the re-search are presented. It is emphasized that the surveys in question are of a pilot nature. Therefore, they are aimed not only at verifying the explicated research hypotheses among the studied part of the population of the Małopolska region, but also at checking the correctness and adequacy of the tool used in the conducted research. In the opinion of the authors, the results obtained within the framework of the project will constitute the basis for further, much more i-depth research devoted to the discussed subject.
