Przedmiotem pracy jest przedstawienie wykorzystania elektronicznych źródeł informacji (w szczególności źródeł licencjonowanych dostępnych przez Extranet Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego), przez doktorantów Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. W tym celu przeprowadzono badanie doktorantów Uniwersytetu wykorzystując technikę ankiety internetowej. Rezultatem badań jest poznanie preferencji respondentów w wykorzystaniu elektronicznych źródeł informacji oraz rodzajów barier, jakie napotykają w trakcie korzystania z tego rodzaju źródeł.
The purpose of the thesis was to present the use of electronic sources of information by the Ph.D. students of Jagiellonian University (particularly licensed sources available through the Extranet of the Jagiellonian University). For that purpose, Ph.D students of the University were surveyed by filling in the Internet questionnaire form. The aim of the results of the research was to find out about the preferences of the respondents in the use of electronic sources of information and types of barriers they encounter when they use this type of sources.
