Opieka nad dzieckiem w wieku 14 lat z młodzieńczym idiopatycznym zapaleniem stawów.Wstęp: Młodzieńcze idiopatyczne zapalenie stawów uznawane jest za najczęstszą chorobę reumatyczną występującą w wieku rozwojowym, która może przyczynić się do niepełnosprawności. Ważne jest wdrożenie odpowiedniego leczenia w celu zapewnienia jak najlepszego funkcjonowania w wieku dorosłym.Cel pracy: Celem pracy był opis przypadku dziecka w wieku szkolnym z rozpoznaną postacią wielostawową młodzieńczego idiopatycznego zapalenia stawów oraz zaplanowanie opieki nad dzieckiem i jego rodzicami. Pozwoli to zwiększyć jakość opieki nad pacjentem oraz przyczyni się do pogłębienia wiedzy na ten temat.Materiał i metody: W pracy zastosowana została metoda indywidualnego przypadku. Obserwacją objęto chłopca w wieku 14 lat z rozpoznaną postacią wielostawową młodzieńczego idiopatycznego zapalenia stawów. Wykorzystano następujące techniki w celu zbierania danych: wywiad, analiza dokumentacji medycznej, obserwacja stanu pacjenta.Wyniki: U pacjenta rozpoznano wiele problemów zdrowotnych. Główne problemy związane były bezpośrednio z chorobą i układem kostno - stawowym. Część z nich dotyczyła działań niepożądanych stosowanych leków i powikłań choroby. Skupiono się także na sferze psychicznej dziecka oraz deficycie wiedzy pacjenta i jego rodziców.Podsumowanie i wnioski: Opieka nad dzieckiem z chorobą przewlekłą, jaką jest młodzieńcze idiopatyczne zapalenie stawów jest trudna i stanowi wyzwanie dla dziecka i jego rodziny, a także dla personelu medycznego. Ważne jest wdrożenie odpowiedniego i skutecznego leczenia oraz minimalizowanie jego skutków ubocznych. Wsparcie społeczne odgrywa dużą rolę w procesie adaptacji dziecka i rodziny do choroby.

Care for a child at the age of 14 with a juvenile idiopathic arthritis.Introduction: Juvenile idiopathic arthritis is the most considered rheumatic disease in development age, which may contribute to disability. It is important to implement the appropiate tratment to ensure the best functioning in adulthood. Aim of the study: The aim of the work was to describe the case of a school-age child with diagnosed a polyarticular form of juvenile idiopathic arthritis and planning care for the child and his parents. This will increase the quality of patient care and will contribute to the deepening of knowledge on this subject. Materials and methods: In this work was used the method of an individual case. Observation included a boy at the age of 14 with diagnosed polyarticular form of juvenile idiopatic arthiritis. For gathering information used: interview, analysis of medical records, observation of the patient's condition. Results: The patient has been diagnosed with many health problems. The main problems were directly related to the disease and osteoarticular system. The part concerned side effects of used drugs and complications of the disease. The focus was also on the child's mental sphere and the deficit of knowledge of the patient and his parents. Summary and conclusions: Care for a child with a chronic illness such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis is difficult and presents a challenge for the child and his family, a also for medical staff. Implementation is appropriate and effective treatment and minimizing its effects. Social support plays a huge role in the process of adapting child and family to the disease.
