Depletion of Oil Resources in Selected Countries of the Persian Gulf

Tematem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej jest wyczerpywanie się zasobów ropy naftowej w Kuwejcie, Katarze i Bahrajnie. Głównym celem pracy jest analiza procesu wyczerpywania się zasobów ropy naftowej oraz utraty dochodów generowanych przez sektor naftowy i gazowy w tych krajach. Opracowanie prezentuje również możliwe kierunki rozwoju sektorów nienaftowych, najważniejsze zagadnienia związane z wydobyciem ropy naftowej i gazu ziemnego oraz rezerwy surowców energetycznych na świecie. Praca składa się z trzech rozdziałów, w których opisana została historia krajów od okresu przed protektoratem do czasów współczesnych. Następnie przedstawiono narodowe plany rozwoju państw Zatoki Perskiej przygotowane na lata 2030 i 2035 oraz projekty i działania, które zostają podjęte by sektor naftowy nie stanowił głównego źródła finansowania państw.

The aim of this thesis is the depletion of oil resources in Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain. The main purpose of this dissertation is to analyze the depletion of oil resources and the loss of revenues generated by the oil and gas sector in those countries. The study also presents possible directions for the development of non-petroleum sectors, the most important issues related to the extraction of crude oil and natural gas and reserves of energy resources in the world. The paper consists of three chapters describing the history of countries from the period before the protectorate to the present day. Furthermore, the national development plans of the Persian Gulf states prepared for 2030 and 2035 were presented, as well as projects and actions that were taken to prevent the oil sector from being the main source of financing for countries.
