The linguistic and textual characteristics of the chat communication

Tematem niniejszej pracy jest ukazanie cech językowych oraz tekstowych na podstawie komunikacji internetowej, którą jest chat. Pierwsza część pracy zajmuje się wyjaśnieniem lingwistycznych terminów, tj. tekst, jego rodzaje oraz funkcje. Przedstawienie definicji pozwala na lepsze zrozumienie tematu. Funkcje tekstu zostały ukazane wraz z przykładami tekstów użytkowych, w których one występują. Wraz z nimi przedstawiono terminy rodzajów tekstu. W kolejnym rozdziale opisano strukturę i cechy komunikacji internetowej. Na ich podstawie można stwierdzić, jak można uczestniczyć w konwersacji, jakich wymagań i reguł należy przestrzegać, by nie zostać wydalonym z czatu. Aby zalogować się do portalu, uczestnicy rozmowy wybierają wybraną przez siebie nazwę użytkownika. Po wejściu na stronę członek dyskusji ma do wyboru dwie opcje: uczestniczyć w ogólnej debacie z innymi, włączając się w konwersację albo napisać prywatną wiadomość do osoby posiadającej konkretny nick. Nie należy pominąć kwestii języka pisanego oraz mówionego, która została opisana w podrozdziale 2.3. Nie podlega wątpliwościom, iż język mówiony przeważa w czacie, którego cechy to m.in większa ilość popełnianych błędów, prostsze konstrukcje gramatyczne oraz zubożałe słownictwo. Pokrótce zostały przedstawione również typy czatów, które dotychczas występowały w internecie i rozwijały się na przestrzeni ubiegłych lat. Druga, praktyczna część niniejszej pracy zajmuje się badaniem zjawisk językowych występujących w komunikacji internetowej. Do rozważań zostały wzięte takie aspekty jak: emotikony, unikanie czasowników i zaimków osobowych, opuszczanie końcówek fleksyjnych oraz błędy językowe. Do nich należą również zapożyczenia z języków, takich jak arabski czy angielski, rezygnacja z interpunkcji oraz okazywanie uczuć poprzez słowa oraz symbole. Nie można uniknąć wpływu języku specjalistycznego, jakim jest Denglisch, czyli połączenie języka niemieckiego i angielskiego oraz etnolektu Kiezdeutsch, czyli język osób o pochodzeniu arabskim, na konwersację.

The subject of this thesis is to show the linguistic and textual characteristics of web chat. The first part of the work deals with the clarification of linguistic terms, ie the text, its types and functions. The definition of the definition allows for a better understanding of the subject. Text functions are shown along with examples of utility texts in which they occur. Along with them are the terms of text types. The next chapter describes the structure and characteristics of web communication. Based on them, you can tell how you can participate in conversations, what rules and rules to follow in order not to be expelled from chat. To sign in to the portal, the caller selects the user's name. After entering the site, the member has two options: participate in a general debate with others, including a conversation or write a private message to a person with a specific nick. Do not miss the issue of written and spoken language, which is described in subsection 2.3. There is no doubt that spoken language prevails in chat, whose features include: More mistakes made, simpler grammatical constructions and impoverished vocabulary. Briefly, the types of chats that have hitherto been available on the Internet have also been reported and developed over the years. The second, practical part of this paper deals with the study of linguistic phenomena occurring in internet communication. Emoticons, avoidance of verbs and personal pronouns, dropping inflected ends and language errors have been taken into consideration. These include borrowings from languages such as Arabic or English, the renunciation of punctuation, and the expression of feelings through words and symbols. Some users use styles that are deviations from the norms of correct German grammar, and yet their messages are understandable.

Der erste Teil der vorliegenden Arbeit widmet sich der terminologischen Klärung – Textsorten, Textfunktionen. Es werdendie für Gebrauchstexte relevanten Termini von Sprachwissenschaftlern erläutert. Im nächsten Kapitel beschäftigt sich die Arbeit mit der Frage der Struktur und Merkmale der Chat-Kommunikation, beispielsweise wie kann man in einen Chat eintreten, welche Anforderungen man beachten soll, um sich mit jemandem im Chat unterhalten zu können, und, was für eine Sprache in dieser Kommunikationsweise verwendet wird. Zunächst werden Phänomene der Mündlichkeit und Schriftlichkeit dargestellt und kurz die Arten von Chats gewertet. Im Fokus des dritten Kapitels steht die Sprachverwendung in der Chat-Kommunikation. Es wird eine große Menge von sprachlichen Zeichen anhand von Beispielen erwähnt – von Emoticons bis zu den syntaktischen Besonderheiten, wie Klein- und Großschreibung, Tippfehler, Interjektionen oder Akronyme. Ein Fazit und eine Zusammenfassung in der polnischen Sprache beschließen meine Diplomarbeit.
