Przedmiotem pracy pt. Internet jako narzędzie walki o prawa człowieka – przykład powstania i działalności Black Lives Matter jest stworzona w 2014 roku organizacja walcząca o prawa czarnoskórych w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Celem pracy było przedstawienie w skondensowany sposób korelacji między nowoczesnymi technologiami a ochroną praw człowieka i tworzenia dużych organizacji zrzeszających wielu ludzi. Praca ma przybliżyć czytelnikowi historię powstania Black Lives Matter, podkreślając rolę mediów społecznościowych w procesie tworzenia. Będzie opisywać całą strukturę ruchu, liderów oraz hierarchię panującą wewnątrz organizacji. Ponadto zostaną wskazane czynniki, które miały wpływ na obecny kształt Black Lives Matter. Praca przedstawi wydarzenia z 2020 roku, czyli zabójstwa Georga Floyda przez funkcjonariusza policji, skutkującego wywołaniem masowych protestów w Stanach Zjednoczonych.

The subject of the work entitled ‘The Internet as a tool in the fight for human rights - an example of the creation and the activity of Black Lives Matter’ an organization founded in 2014 that fights for the rights of black people in the United States. The aim of the work was to present, in a condensed way, the correlation between modern technologies and the protection of human rights, and the creation of large organizations associating many people. The aim of the work is to familiarize the reader with the history of the creation of Black Lives Matter, emphasizing the role of social media in the creation process. The paper will describe the entire structure of the movement, leaders and hierarchy within the organization. In addition, it will present factors that had and influence on the current shape of Black Lives Matter. The work will present the events of 2020, i.e. the murder of Georg Floyd by a police officer, resulting in mass protests in the United States.
