Italian idiomatic expressions related to music

Niniejsza praca opisuje włoskie wyrażenia idiomatyczne związane z muzyką, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem tych, które zawierają nazwy instrumentów muzycznych. Część teoretyczna składa się z dwóch rozdziałów. Pierwszy z nich poświęcony jest ogólnej charakterystyce wyrażeń językowych. Drugi opisuje metaforę i związek metafory pojęciowej z wyrażeniami idiomatycznymi. W części analitycznej, wchodzącej w skład trzeciego rozdziału, omówiono wyrażenia idiomatyczne zawierające nazwy instrumentów muzycznych. Analiza semantyczna została przeprowadzona w oparciu o znaczenie metaforyczne i dosłowne wyrażeń, a także kontekst kulturowy. Na tej podstawie można stwierdzić, że semantyka wyrażeń idiomatycznych, choć jest problemem niezwykle złożonym, pozostaje logiczna i spójna.

This work describes Italian idiomatic expressions related to music, paying particular attention to those that contain the names of musical instruments. The theoretical part consists of two chapters. The first is devoted to the general characteristics of idiomatic expressions. The second describes the metaphor and the relationship of the conceptual metaphor to idiomatic expressions. In the analytical part of Chapter 3, idiomatic expressions containing names of musical instruments were analysed. Semantic analysis was carried out on the basis of the metaphorical and literal meaning of the expressions, as well as the cultural context. On this basis, it is concluded that the semantics of idiomatic expressions, although extremely complex, remain logical and consistent.

Il presente lavoro descrive le espressioni idiomatiche italiane legate alla musica, con particolare attenzione a quelle che contengono nomi di strumenti musicali. La parte teorica è composta da due capitoli. Il primo è dedicato alla caratterizzazione generale delle espressioni idiomatiche. L'altro descrive la metafora e la relazione della metafora concettuale con le espressioni idiomatiche. Nella parte analitica del terzo capitolo sono state esaminate le espressioni idiomatiche contenenti nomi di strumenti musicali. L'analisi semantica è stata effettuata in base al significato metaforico e letterale delle espressioni, nonché al contesto culturale. Su questa base si conclude che la semantica delle espressioni idiomatiche, sebbene sia un problema estremamente complesso, rimane logica e coerente.
