The style of expression of the most popular vloggers and its impact on the language of school children

Problemem badawczym podjętym w tej pracy jest analiza stylu wypowiedzi vlogerów najpopularniejszych wśród dzieci w wieku szkolnym oraz wpływu, jaki wywierają oni na sposób wypowiadania się młodych odbiorców.Pierwsza część pracy nakreśla zagadnienie kultury żywego słowa. Przedstawiona jest jej specyfika, wykazane zostają różnice między językiem pisanym a mówionym. Następnie opisane są główne tendencje przemian współczesnej polszczyzny oraz języka w mediach.Rozdział drugi tej części traktuje o przestrzeni YouTube, nakreśla krótko historię powstania portalu oraz jego główne cechy. Następnie zostają zaprezentowani czterej vlogerzy, których filmy będą poddane analizie. Część teoretyczną zamyka podrozdział opisujący wpływ vlogerów na aspiracje życiowe młodego pokolenia.W części praktycznej wyznaczony jest cel badań, hipoteza i metodologia. Następnie zostaje przeprowadzona analiza dostępnych w przestrzeń YouTube nagrań audio-wizualnych najpopularniejszych vlogerów oraz dwojga dzieci. Każda z analiz rozpoczyna się od przeglądu tematyki danego vlogera, następnie badane są poszczególne podsystemy języka, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem podsystemu fonetyczno-fonologicznego. Analiza nagrań dzieci nakierowana jest na wykazanie podobieństw świadczących o wpływie vlogerów na ich język. W konkluzji zaproponowane zostają strategie mające zapobiec erozji kultury żywego słowa wśród dzieci.

The research problem undertaken in this work is the analysis of the style of statements of vloggers most popular among schoolchildren and the impact they have on the way young audiences speak.The first part of the work outlines the issue of the living word culture. Its specificity is presented, differences between written and spoken language are shown. Next, the main trends of changes in modern Polish and language in the media are described.The second chapter of this part deals with YouTube space, briefly outlines the history of the portal's creation and its main features. Then four vloggers will be presented, whose films will be analyzed. The theoretical part is closed by a section describing the impact of vloggers on the life aspirations of the young generation.The practical part sets out the research goal, hypothesis and methodology. Next, an analysis of the audio-visual recordings of the most popular vloggers and two children is carried out in the YouTube space. Each of the analyzes begins with a review of the topic of a given vlogger, then individual language subsystems are examined, with particular emphasis on the phonetic and phonological subsystem. The analysis of children's recordings is aimed at demonstrating similarities indicating the impact of vloggers on their language. As a conclusion, strategies are proposed to prevent the erosion of the living word culture among children.
