AUTOFICTION AND DISEASE. THE FIRST STEP THROUGH THE CLOUDS BY MAREK HŁASKO

Przedmiotem niniejszej pracy licencjackiej jest analiza twórczości i spojrzenie na biografię Marka Hłaski na podstawie dyskursu maladycznego. Celem jest wyjaśnienie związku pomiędzy egzystencją bohaterów z wybranych opowiadań tomu Pierwszy krok w chmurach, a osobistymi doświadczeniami autora utworów. Temat choroby opisano na podstawie analizy zachowań i stosunku do życia fikcyjnych postaci oraz znajomości biografii Hłaski. Poruszone wątki oparto na pojęciach teoretycznych dotyczących gatunku – autofikcji, autobiografii oraz na różnych terminach biologicznych. Choroba została ukazana jako stan fizyczny oraz metaforyczny obraz człowieka, zagubionego w życiu, nie potrafiącego się określić wobec rzeczywistości oraz ciągle poszukującego wartości.

The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is the analysis of Marek Hłasko’s work and a look at his biography on the basis of a maladic discourse. The aim is to explain the relationship between the existence of the characters from selected short stories in the volume The first step through the clouds and the personal experiences of the author of the works. The theme of disease is described on the basis of the knowledge of Hłasko’s biography and analysis of the behaviour and attitude to life of the fictional characters. Disease was presented as a physical state and as a metaphorical image of a man lost in life, unable to define himself in relation to reality and constantly searching for values – autofiction, autobiography and various biological terms.
