The functioning of an addicted child in the relationship with siblings

W niniejszej pracy badano sposoby funkcjonowania dzieci uzależnionych w relacji z rodzeństwem. Zostały przeprowadzone wywiady z osobami uzależnionymi, poniżej trzydziestego roku życia posiadającymi rodzeństwo. Badając funkcjonowanie dziecka uzależnionego w relacji z rodzeństwem wzięto pod uwagę cztery kategorie: jakość kontaktów między rodzeństwem, funkcjonowanie w roli brata/siostry, rola rodzeństwa w procesie uzależnienia, rola rodzeństwa w procesie terapeutycznym. W pracy scharakteryzowano problem uzależnienia, okres dzieciństwa oraz ukazano wpływ jakości relacji na proces uzależnienia, proces terapeutyczny a także wpływ uzależnienia na relacje z bliskimi.

This study examines the ways in which addicted children function in their relationship with their siblings. Interviews were conducted with addicts, under thirthy, who have siblings. When examining the functioning of an addicted child in the relationship with siblings, four categories were taken into account: the quality of contacts between siblings, functioning as a brother / sister, the role of siblings in the addiction process, and the role of siblings in the therapeutic process. The study describes problem of addiction, childhood, and shows impact of quality of the relationship on addiction process, the therapeutic process, and impact of addiction on relationships with relatives.
