In the network of (rewritten) texts. The dramatic art of Marcin Cecko from the perspective of the viewer and the reader

Praca o charakterze analityczno-interpretacyjnym jest próbą monografii dramaturgii Marcina Cecko. Autorka stawia tezę, że współczesne teksty dla teatru mogą być czytane w lekturze autonomicznej wobec spektaklu. Posługując się kategoriami literaturoznawczymi (wielojęzyczność, intertektualność, przepisywanie) autorka podejmuje się analizy scenariuszy Cecko, które nazywa za Sarrazacem „mozaiką języków i dyskursów”. W kolejnych rozdziałach interpretuje dramaty: "Gwiazda Śmierci", "Odyseja", "Balladyna" i "Życie seksualne dzikich". Głównym celem pracy jest – analogicznie do metody pracy dramatopisarza – stworzenie sieci tekstów, w której porusza się czytelnik Cecko.

Analytical and interpretative work which is an attempt to create the monograph of drama art of Marcin Cecko. The author argues that contemporary texts for the theater can be read apart from the stage. Using the categories of literature (multilingualism, intertextualism, recreating) the author analyzes Cecko’s screenplays which she called – according to Sarrazac – "mosaic of languages and discourses". In the following parts she interprets Cecko's dramas: "Gwiazda Śmierci", "Odyseja", "Balladyna" and "Życie seksualne dzikich". The main goal of this work is – similar to the working method of the playwright – to create a network of texts, where Cecko’s reader moves about.
