The mythological inspirations of the game Hades in players’ opinions

Przedmiotem badań uczyniono grę komputerową Hades. Celem było zbadanie opinii osób grających w tę grę na temat wykorzystania greckiej mitologii.W pierwszym rozdziale zawarto uwagi wstępne oraz przytoczono te fragmenty z mitologii greckiej, na których wzorowano się przy tworzeniu gry. Drugi rozdział stanowi formalny i treściowy opis gry Hades. Natomiast w rozdziale trzecim scharakteryzowano część empiryczną badań, wskazując cel główny, określając problem badawczy i wybraną metodę badawczą. Przedstawiono i przeprowadzono analizę pozyskanych w wyniku ankiety internetowej danych od 161 badanych osób.

The subject of the research was the video game Hades. The goal was to examine the opinions of players regarding the use of Greek mythology in the game.The first chapter includes introductory remarks and presents the fragments of Greek mythology that were used as inspiration in the creation of the game. The second chapter provides a formal and content description of Hades. In the third chapter, the empirical part of the research is described, outlining the main objective, defining the research problem, and the selected research method. The data obtained from an online survey of 161 respondents is presented and analyzed.
