Niniejsza praca składa się z 4 rozdziałów i ma na celu ukazanie francuskiego rapu przez pryzmat językowej teorii gatunku. Rozdział 1 przedstawia piosenkę jako gatunek. Rozdział 2 opisuje rap jako podgatunek piosenki.Kolejny rozdział poświęcony jest zjawisku rapu i jego początkom.Ostatnia część pracy zawiera analizę tekstów piosenek reprezentujących francuski rap.
Thesis contains 4 chapters.The first one is focused on the song as a genre.Chapter 2 describes rap as a musical subgenre of the song.Chapter 3 is dedicated to the phenomenon of rap and its beginning.Final chapter contains lyrical analysis of french rap songs.
