Choroba zwyrodnieniowa stawu kolanowego jako jedna z głównych przyczyn inwalidztwa stanowi problem medyczno-socjalno-ekonomiczny. Endoprotezoplastyka stawu kolanowego będąca najczęściej nieodzownym elementem leczenia zwyrodnienia stawu kolanowego jest jednym z rozwiązań tego problemu. Ocena skuteczności tej metody powinna zawierać elementy oceny funkcjonalnej oraz oceny jakości życia pacjentów.
Osteoarthritis of the knee as one of the main causes of disability is a medical-social-economic problem. Knee endoprosthesis, which is most often an indispensable part of the treatment of gonarthrosis is one of the solution to this problem. The assessment of the effectiveness of this method should include elements of functional evaluation and quality of life assessment of patients.
