Controlling in service and trade businesses

Głównym celem przeprowadzonych badań była identyfikacja stanu wiedzy na temat controllingu w branży usługowo-handlowej. Badanie ilościowe zostało przeprowadzone za pomocą narzędzia badawczego, którym był kwestionariusz ankiety, zawierający pytania zamknięte oraz otwarte. Badanie objęło 82 osoby z sektora usługowo-handlowego. Przeprowadzone badanie wykazało, że pomimo świadomości funkcjonowania takiego systemu zarządzania jakim jest controlling, nadal występuje zbyt niski poziom wiedzy na temat samego controllingu i jego funkcji. Badanie wykazało również, iż wciąż konieczna jest edukacja pracowników branży usługowo-handlowej w zakresie zadań controllingu.

The main scope of the conducted research was to identify the knowledge level in service and trade business about controlling. Quantitative research was carried out using a research tool, which was a questionnaire, containing closed and open questions. The research included 82 people from the service and trade business. The results of the research have shown that despite awareness of the functioning of the management system which is controlling, still there is too little knowledge level about the controlling itself and its functions. The results of the research have shown also that there is still a need of educating workers of the service and trade business in the field of controlling.
