Mobility in the European Union as a tool for shaping the European citizen

Przedmiotem pracy jest zbadanie wpływu inicjatyw podejmowanych celem ułatwiania i promowania mobilności w Unii Europejskiej na obywatela europejskiego. Za punkt wyjścia rozważań przyjęto kontekst historyczno-prawny swobody przepływu osób i pracowników. Dzięki ewolucji swobód, ich obecny kształt pozwala na pełne korzystanie z praw przysługujących obywatelowi unijnemu. Ponadto przedstawione zostały wybrane projekty realizowane w ramach programu Erasmus+, jednocześnie będące wyrazem swobody przepływu. Ukazano także wpływ wymian międzynarodowych na rozwój wybranych cech uczestników. Wzrost niektórych kompetencji oraz zmiany w wyznawanych wartościach pozwoliły dowieść możliwość wywierania wpływu na młodego obywatela Unii.

The subject of the study is to examine the impact on the European citizen of initiatives taken to facilitate and promote mobility in the European Union. The historical and legal context of the freedom of movement was taken as the basis of consideration. Through the evolution of the freedoms, their current shape allows for the full exercise of the rights of the EU citizen. In addition, a selection of projects implemented within the scope of the Erasmus+ program is presented. At the same time they are an expression of freedom of movement. The effect of international exchanges on the development of selected characteristics of participants is also demonstrated. The increase in certain competencies and changes in beliefs made it possible to prove the potential for influence on the young citizen of the EU.
