Health problems of a patient with colorectal cancer based on a case study

Nowotwory jelit stanowią coraz większy problem. Przyczyny powstawania raka jelita grubego nie zostały dotychczas poznane. Celem pracy jest rozpoznanie problemów zdrowotnych natury biologicznej, psychologicznej oraz społecznej, a także opracowanie planu opieki nad chorym na raka jelita grubego.Praca składa się z dwóch części. Pierwsza dotyczy podstaw klinicznych schorzenia. Zawarto w niej epidemiologię i etiopatogenezę choroby, diagnostykę, objawy oraz leczenie, jak również problemy zdrowotne chorych na raka jelita grubego. W części drugiej, badawczej, przedstawiono metodologiczne podstawy badań własnych, ich cel, problemy badawcze, metody i narzędzia badawcze, organizację i przebieg badań, a także wyniki badań wraz z problemami zdrowotnymi oraz planem opieki nad chorą z nowotworem jelita grubego.

Intestinal neoplasms represent a growing problem. The causes of colorectal cancer have not yet been determined. The aim of this study is to identify biological, psychological and social nature of health problems, as well as develop a plan of caring for a patient with colorectal cancer. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part concerns clinical grounds for colorectal cancer. It incorporates epidemiology and etiopathogenesis of the disease, its diagnostics, signs and treatment, as well as health problems of patients with colorectal cancer. The second part brings research into focus. It concentrates on the methodological basis and the purpose of the research, its planning and conduct, investigates research-related problems, methods and tools. Finally, it presents the findings of the research, including health problems and the plan of caring for the patient with colorectal cancer.
