Prezentowana monografia poświęcona jest najnowszym kierunkom badań z zakresu studiów galicyjskich, zwłaszcza z perspektywy dyscypliny językoznawstwa i literaturoznawstwa. Składa się na nią dwadzieścia rozdziałów autorstwa wybitnych badaczek i badaczy z prestiżowych zagranicznych ośrodków akademickich, w których prowadzone są studia nad językiem, kulturą i literaturą galisyjską. Novas perspectivas nos estudos lingüísticos e literarios galegos contains twenty specialised articles in the field of Galician studies and the latest trends in the study of language, literature, culture, history, and translation, while emphasizing the complexity of the topics discussed. Here we find considerations on issues such as linguistic identity, inclusive language, history and etymology of the Galician language, migration, feminist literature, children’s and young adult literature, ecocriticism, translation, cultural heritage, etc. Both the topics covered and the areas of research represented are diverse, but as a whole they allow to appreciate the essence of Galician studies in the 21st century and confirm the belief that they have a certain and promising future.
