Registry of sexual crime offenders

Praca przedstawia problematykę rejestru stworzonego przez ustawę o przeciwdziałaniu zagrożeniom przestępczością na tle seksualnym z 13 maja 2016 r. Omówione zostały przyczyny jego wprowadzenia oraz porównano go z rejestrami funkcjonującymi w innych państwach. Zbadane zostały także konsekwencje funkcjonowania takich rejestrów, w szczególności w odniesieniu do sprawców przestępstw. Niniejsza praca szczegółowo analizuje także samą ustawę o przeciwdziałaniu zagrożeniom przestępczością na tle seksualnym. Zbadane zostały poszczególne normowane przez nią instytucje, ponadto szerokiej analizie poddano zgodność jej zapisów z normami Konstytucji RP oraz europejskim prawem ochrony danych osobowych.

This thesis discusses issues of the register created by the Act of 13 May 2016 on Prevention of Sexual Crime. The author discussess reasons of implementation of the register in Poland and compares it with the ones functioning in other countries. Also, the consequences of operating of such registers have been analyzed, in particular in relation to the offenders.This thesis covers in detail the normative aspects of the Act of 13 May 2016 on Prevention of Sexual Crime. The author has analyzed the institutions the act created and compliance of the act with the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and european data privacy law.
