Pracy magisterska skupia się na temacie oddzielenia państwa od Kościoła we Francji. Zostały podjęte starania przeanalizowania historii tego procesu i prześledzenia najważniejszych wydarzeń mających wpływ na laicyzację w czasach przed Rewolucją Francuską. Zwrócono uwagę na aspekty społeczno-polityczne, ale także filozoficzne, które przyczyniły się do ruchu dechrystianizacji. Poruszony został także temat ustawy z 1905 roku oraz jej konsekwencji prawnych wraz z późniejszymi reformami, które wpływały na charakter separacji państwa od Kościoła. The master's thesis focuses on the topic of the separation of the Church and state in France. Efforts have been made to analyze the history of this process and trace the key events that influenced secularization in the period before the French Revolution. Attention is given to the socio-political as well as philosophical aspects that contributed to the dechristianization movement. The thesis also addresses the 1905 law and its legal consequences, along with subsequent reforms that shaped the nature of the separation between church and state. Additionally, it discusses the issue of how the secular state operates in the context of religious diversity, with a particular focus on Sharia law. The thesis presents the effects of separation on Muslim believers, including an analysis of court rulings that illustrate contemporary challenges in legal and social relations between religion and the state in France. The entire thesis provides an in-depth insight into the historical, philosophical, and legal factors that have shaped today's policy of secularism in France.
