Selected methods of scar therapy in cosmetology and aesthetic medicine

W ramach pracy przedstawiono budowę skóry oraz jej przydatków, a także opisano rodzaje blizn występujących na skórze twarzy i ciała. W pierwszej części pracy została opisana mezoterapia igłowa oraz mechanizm działania tego zabiegu, jak również efekty pozabiegowe w leczeniu blizn. W dalszej części pracy opisano terapię fibryną bogatopłytkową w leczeniu blizn, mechanizm jej działania oraz oczekiwane rezultaty. W ostatniej części przedstawiono zabiegi z zastosowaniem peelingów chemicznych TCA, które również stosuje się w terapii skór dotkniętych bliznami. W pracy zostały zawarte zdjęcia autorskie pokazujące efekt wyżej wymienionych zabiegów wy- konane w gabinecie medycyny estetycznej.Celem pracy było poszerzenie wiedzy dotyczącej zabiegów, które wykonuje się w gabinetach zarówno kosmetycznych, jak i medycyny estetycznej celem likwidacji blizn. Ponadto zaznaczenie, że wymienione zabiegi wykonuje się również w przypadku innych problemów skórnych, co pokazuje jak szerokie zastosowanie mają terapie stosowane przez kosmetologów i lekarzy.

The paper presents the structure of the skin and its appendages, and describes the types of scars on the skin of the face and body. The first part of the work describes needle mesotherapy and the mechanism of action of this treatment, as well as the post- operative effects in the treatment of scars. Fibrin therapy is described later in this article platelet-rich scar treatment, the mechanism of its action and the expected results.The last part presents treatments with the use of TCA chemical peels, which are also used in the treatment of scarred skin. At work author's photos showing the effect of the above-mentioned treatments, taken in an aesthetic medicine office, are included.The aim of the study was to broaden the knowledge about the procedures that are performed in both cosmetic and aesthetic medicine salons to eliminate scars. More- over, it is indicated that the above-mentioned treatments are also performed in the case of other skin problems, which shows how widely the therapies are usedused by cos- metologists and doctors.
