Poniższy artykuł poświęcony jest analizie wykorzystania Teorii Wielkiej Podmiany w retoryce antyimigracyjnej najbardziej prominentnej niemieckiej partii prawicowej – Alternatywy dla Niemiec (AfD). W moich staraniach o wskazanie, opisanie i zbadanie wykorzystania przez partię obaw wynikających z Teorii Wielkiej Podmiany w jej nieustannych próbach zwiększenia bazy wyborców poprzez niejasno zdefiniowany dyskurs antyimigracyjny, będę korzystać z badań zastanych i analizy dyskursu. Pierwszy rozdział poświęcony jest badaniu związku między teoriami spiskowymi a dyskryminacją mniejszości. Drugi skupia się na historycznym tle Teorii Wielkiej Podmiany i jej podstawowych założeniach. Trzeci i ostatni zagłębia społeczno-polityczny i historyczny krajobraz Niemiec a ku jego końcowi przeprowadzone i opisane jest studium przypadku partii i wykorzystanie przez niej obaw wynikających z Teorii Wielkiej Podmiany w Internecie. Kluczowym źródłem danych w tej części pracy jest główne konto AfD na Instagramie @afd.bund, a konkretniej tamtejsza aktywność partii w roku 2024 z powodów wyjaśnionych szczegółowo w podrozdziale 3.3, ale generalnie z powodu takich czynników jak intensywność i rodzaj publikacji.

This thesis examines the use of the Great Replacement Theory in anti-immigrant rhetoric of the most prominent German right-wing party – the Alternative for Germany (AfD). I will be using the desk research and discourse analysis frameworks in my endeavour to pinpoint, describe, and investigate the party’s use of the Great Replacement fears in their continuous attempts at growing their voter basis through their vaguely defined anti-immigration discourse. The first chapter will explore the connection between conspiracy theories and minority discrimination. The second one will focus on the historical background of the Great Replacement Theory and its core tenets. The third and final one will delve into the socio-political and historical landscape of Germany and ends with the final case study on the party and its use of The Great Replacement fears online. The central source of data is the AfD’s main Instagram account @afd.bund with its activity over the year 2024 for reasons explained in detail in subchapter 3.3, but ultimately due to such factors as intensity and type of posting.
