THE EXHIBITION "NATURE IN ART" IN THE MUSEUM OF MODERN ART IN CRACOW MOCAK- MANAGEMENT PROCESS

Praca pod tytułem „Wystawa „Natura w sztuce” w Muzeum Sztuki Współczesnej w Krakowie MOCAK - proces zarządzania” opiera się na badaniach przeprowadzonych w wyżej wymienionej instytucji publicznej. Celem niniejszej pracy jest zbadanie procesu tworzenia wystawy w tym jego składowych, oraz określenie zadań wykonywanych przez poszczególne osoby w organizacji i artystów biorących udział w wystawie. Autorka opisuje także zasoby potrzebne do zorganizowania takiej wystawy. Problemem badawczym jest określenie jak wygląda proces tworzenia wystawy w wybranej instytucji kultury, z jakich elementów się składa, kto bierze w nim udział i jaką spełnia w nim rolę. Próba zbadania tego tematu jest bardzo istotna, ponieważ w literaturze przedmiotu ilość opracowań tego tematu jest nikła. Autorka podjęła się przeprowadzenia wywiadów z pracownikami instytucji, wybierając osoby zajmujące stanowiska kierownicze. Dokonała także obserwacji uczestniczącej podczas odbytego w instytucji stażu i nieuczestniczącej biorąc udział w wernisażu wystawy.

English version: The thesis under the title „Exhibition „Nature in art" in the Museum of Modern Art in Cracow MOCAK - management process” is based on the survey conducted in the public institution mentioned above. The aim of this thesis is to study the process of creating the exhibition including its components and defining assignments carried out by individuals in the organization and artists who take part in the exhibition. The author also describes resources needed to organize this kind of exhibition. The research problem is describing how the proces of organizing the exhibition looks, what are its components, who takes part in it and what is his role. An attempt to examine this topic is very important, because in the literature, the number of studies on this subject is negligible. The author undertook to conduct interviews with the employees of the institution, selecting people in managerial positions. She also made participatory observation during the internship and non-participatory one during the vernissage of the exhibition.
