Praca traktuje o wpływie muzyki i szeroko pojętej kultury rock and roll'owej na przemiany społeczne w latach 60. XX wieku w krajach kultury Zachodniej. Praca porusza takie tematy jak druga fala feminizmu, walka z segregacją rasową, walka o prawa kobiet oraz ruch antywojenny. Praca zawiera w sobie również zwięzłą charakterystykę ówczesnych grup społecznych i subkultur występujących na terenie Stanów Zjednoczonych w tamtych czasach.
The work deals with the influence of music and broad culture of rock and roll to the social changes in the 60s of the twentieth century in the Western culture. Work contains such topics as the second wave of feminism, the struggle against racial segregation, the struggle for women's rights and anti-war movement. The work also contains a concise characteristic of contemporary social groups and subcultures present in the United States at the time.
