Legal terminology and specialised medical vocabulary as elements of a textual style in the proscription notes of Schweidnitz from the 14th and 15th centuries

The aim of this article is to reflect on the question of whether or not the proscription notes in the proscription book of Schweidnitz from the 14th and 15th centuries can be regarded as specialized texts. In doing so, however, it is being primarily looked for technical language elements from the legal and medical fields. This should help to answer the question whether and to what extent such lexical language elements influence the composition of the proscription texts. The author focuses on the structure and characteristic features of the specific entries. The outline of the structure and function of a book of proscription and its entries form the background to the field of research outlined in this way.

Der Beitrag verfolgt das Ziel, die Frage zu reflektieren, ob die Proskriptionsvermerke im Schweidnitzer Proskriptionsbuch aus dem 14. und 15. Jahrhundert als Fachtexte betrachtet werden dürfen. In erster Linie wird dabei jedoch nach den fachsprachlichen Elementen aus den juristischen und medizinischen Bereichen gesucht. Dies soll bei der Antwort auf die Frage nützlich sein, ob bzw. inwiefern solche lexikalischen Sprachelemente die Achttextgestaltung beeinflussen. Das Augenmerk wird auf die Struktur sowie die charakteristischen Merkmale der konkreten Einträge gerichtet. Den Hintergrund des so konzipierten Forschungsgebietes bildet der Umriss der Struktur und der Funktion eines Achtbuches und dessen Eintragungen.
