Immunity protection of the envoy and senator in Poland

Praca licencjacka pod tytułem “ochrona immunitetowa posła i senatora w Polsce” przedstawia problematykę immunitetu na gruncie obecnie obowiązujących przepisów oraz prac naukowych polskich konstytucjonalistów. Wyjaśnia zagadnienia prawne związane z ochroną immunitetową parlamentarzysty oraz objaśnia sens ich funkcjonowania. Praca przedstawia także elementy składowe immunitetu, takie jak immunitet materialny, formalny i przywilej nietykalności. Ponadto w pracy została przybliżona historia immunitetu jako klasycznej instytucji prawa konstytucyjnego. Została także wyjaśniona istota funkcjonowania immunitetu we współczesnej Polsce i w wybranych państwach o demokratycznym ustroju.

The bachelor’s thesis entitled “immunity protection of the envoy and senator in Poland” presents the issues of immunity on the basic of current regulations and scientific work of Polish constitutionalists. The thesis explains the legal issues of parliamentarian protection and demystify the meaning of their functioning. Moreover, it presents elements of the immunity, such as material and formal immunity and inviolability. Furthermore, in the bachelor’s thesis the history of parliamentary immunity as a classic institution of the constitutional law has been approximated. The essence of the functioning of immunity in contemporary Poland and selected democratic states has been also clarified.
