Praca skupia się na opisaniu zagadnienia krzywych stosowanych w budownictwie komunikacyjnym. W rozdziale wprowadzającym opisano genezę rozważań na temat krzywych przejściowych, sposoby definiowania tych krzywych oraz wprowadzono pojęcia ułatwiające zrozumienie tematu. Następny rozdział dotyczy przykładów krzywych, które najczęściej stosowane są podczas projektowania dróg, linii kolejowych - klotoida, krzywa Blossa, parabola sześcienna, lemniskata Bernoulliego.
This thesis is focused on describing the issue of curves used in transportation infrastructure engineering. The introductory chapter describes the genesis of considerations on transition curves, how to define these curves, and introduces concepts to facilitate understanding of the topic. The next chapter is focused on examples of curves that are most often used when designing roads, railways - clothoid, Bloss curve, cubic parabola, Bernoulli lemniscate.
