SUNDAYS FREE FROM THE TRADE - AT ONE TIME AND TODAY

Badanie miało na celu pokazanie w jaki sposób respondenci patrzą na ustawę zakazującą handel w niedziele, jak spędzają czas wolny w niedziele wolne od handlu, ile czasu przeznaczają na zakupy w tygodniu i przez weekend, w jakich sklepach robią zakupy oraz jak oceniają możliwości konsumpcyjne w czasach PRL.W badaniu ilościowym wzięło udział 105 osób będących mieszkańcami zarówno Krakowa jak i Spytkowic. Dziesięć osób wzięło udział w badaniach jakościowych, 5 z Krakowai 5 osób ze Spytkowic. Badania jakościowe uzupełniły wyniki badań ilościowych.Badania pokazują, że dla większości respondentów wprowadzenie prawa zabraniającego handlu w niedziele nie było przeszkodą i nie musieli zmieniać swoich nawyków zakupowych. Badanie wykazało również, że respondenci z Krakowa i Spytkowic najczęściej robią zakupy w supermarketach / hipermarketach.

The survey aimed to show how the respondents look at the law prohibiting trade on Sundays, how they spend their free time on Sundays free of trade, how much time they spend on shopping during the week and weekend, in which stores they shop and how they evaluate consumption opportunities in times PRL. 105 people who are residents of both Kraków and Spytkowice took part in the quantitative survey. Ten people took part in qualitative research, 5 from Kraków and 5 people from Spytkowice. Qualitative research supplemented the results of quantitative research. The research shows that for the majority of respondents, the introduction of a law prohibiting trading on Sundays was not a hindrance and they did not have to change their shopping habits.The survey also showed that respondents from both Kraków and Spytkowice most often do shopping in supermarkets / hypermarkets.
