Military Unit GROM in 1990-2004; (Genesis and main operations)

Celem pracy było przedstawienie powstania i działalności Jednostki Wojskowej GROM w latach 1990-2004. Wstęp prezentuje stan badań, jaki na dzień dzisiejszy jest dostępny, a także czemu autor zdecydował się na wyżej wymieniony temat pracy. W pierwszym rozdziale poruszono okres, kiedy jednostka była tworzona, a także przedstawiono z jakimi przeciwnościami musiała się zmierzyć w czasie swojej początkowej działalności. Drugi rozdział prezentuje najważniejsze operacje w jakich formacja brała udział, gdy podlegała Ministerstwu Spraw Wewnętrznych. Trzeci rozdział zaś prezentuje historię jednostki od roku 1999, kiedy przeszła do Ministerstwa Obrony Narodowej, wydarzenia z tym faktem związane, a także dwie najważniejsze operacje, odbywające się na początku XXI wieku. W zakończeniu podsumowano całość pracy, zwracając uwagę na każdy element składowy, jaki się w nim znalazł. Postawiono też dwa pytania, na które podjęto próbę odpowiedzi.

The aim of the work was to present the creation and operation of the GROM Military Unit in 1990-2004. The introduction presents the current state of research, as well as why the author decided on the above-mentioned topic of the work. The first chapter deals with the period when the entity was created, and presents the adversities it had to face in its initial activity. The second chapter presents the most important operations in which the formation participated when it was subordinate to the Ministry of the Interior. The third chapter presents the history of the unit from 1999, when it was transferred to the Ministry of National Defense, the events related to this fact, as well as the two most important operations taking place at the beginning of the 21st century. At the end, the whole work is summarized, paying attention to every component that can be found there. Two questions were also asked and an attempt was made to answer them.
