Over the gap. Qualia and the hard problem of consciousness

Celem niniejszej pracy jest próba przybliżenia zagadnień związanych z rozumieniem problemu świadomości. Szczególny nacisk jest położony jest na problem relacji między umysłem a mózgiem. Pytanie podstawowe brzmi następująco - Czy jest możliwe wyjaśnienie świadomości z perspektywy nauk fizykalnych ? Chodzi wiec o zagadnienie luki w wyjaśnianiu. Praca ta stara się podejść do tych zagadnień z perspektywy pytania o subiektywne stany świadomości, w literaturze znanego jako problem qualiów.Pierwszy rozdział ma za zadanie wprowadzić czytelnika w podstawowe problemy poruszanej tematyki .W drugim rozdziale, celem jest bardziej szczegółowe omówienie tematyki qualiów. Praca ta omawia, w tym rozdziale, najpopularniejsze argumenty za istnieniem qualiów.Rozdział trzeci skupia się na krytyce idei qualiów jako nieredukowalnych aspektów doświadczenia. Następnie postaram się odpowiedzieć na pytanie, czy jest możliwe stworzenie takiej koncepcji świadomości która pozwoli na wyjaśniene tego fenomenu z perspektywy nauki. Skupiał będę się tutaj na perspektywie amerykańskiego filozofa Daniela Dennetta.

The purpose of this paper is to approximate the understanding of issues related to the problem of consciousness. Particular emphasis is placed on the problem of the relationship between mind and brain. The basic question is as follows - Is it possible explanation of consciousness from the perspective of the physical sciences? It is therefore a question of gaps in the explanation. This work tries to approach these issues from the perspective of the question of subjective states of consciousness, known in the literature as a problem of qualia.The first chapter is to introduce the reader to the basic problems of the discussed topics.In the second chapter, the goal is a more detailed discussion of issues qualia. This paper discusses in this chapter, the most popular arguments for the existence of qualia.The third chapter focuses on the critique of the idea of ​​qualia as an irreducible aspect of the experience. Then I will try to answer the question whether it is possible to create such a concept of consciousness that will allow the explanation of this phenomenon from the perspective of science. I will focus here on the perspective of the American philosopher Daniel Dennett.
