Institutional support for startups

W niniejszej pracy magisterskiej zostały omówione zagadnienia dotyczące instytucjonalnego wsparcia startupów. Praca została napisana na podstawie analizy literatury naukowej, raportów, artykułów, portali branżowych, a także w oparciu o dane pozyskane z przeprowadzonej analizy stron internetowych instytucji udzielających wsparcia startupom, takie jak: NCBR, PARP, PFR, PAIH. W pracy wykorzystano 88 pozycji bibliograficznych. Podstawowym celem pracy było przedstawienie roli instytucji we wspieraniu rozwoju startupów, określenie praktyk i strategii mogących pomóc tym instytucjom zwiększyć szanse na sukces nowych firm oraz przyczynić się do rozwoju lokalnego ekosystemu startupów. Do opracowania rozdziału badawczego wykorzystano metodę jakościową tj. studium przypadku polegającej na szczegółowym badaniu konkretnej zbiorowości lub pojedynczego przypadku, w celu zgłębienia ich szczegółowości, kontekstu oraz zrozumienia złożonych zjawisk. Polega na zbieraniu różnorodnych danych, jak dokumenty czy obserwacje oraz analizę ich w kontekście teoretycznym w celu wyciągnięcia głębszych wniosków dotyczących danego przypadku. Szczegółowa analiza pozwoliła na sformułowanie wniosków stanowiących, że instytucjonalne wsparcie odgrywa kluczową rolę w tworzeniu sprzyjającego środowiska dla rozwoju startupów, oferując im niezbędne zasoby, wiedzę i wsparcie szczególnie na wczesnych etapach rozwoju. Monitorowanie efektywności działań wsparcia oraz dostosowanie strategii do zmieniających się warunków są kluczowe dla sukcesu startupów w dynamicznie rozwijającym się ekosystemie biznesowym.

The subject of the present work is the institutional support for startups. The research material has been based on data and information included in the publications, reports, articles, as well as based on data obtained from the analysis of the websites of institutions supporting the development of startups e.g. NCBR, PARP, PER, PAIH. 88 bibliographic references were used in the work. The aim of the work was to present the role of institutions in supporting the development if startups, identifying practices and strategies that can help institutions increase the chances of success of new companies and contribute to the development of the local startup ecosystem. To develop the research chapter, a qualitative method was used – a case study consisting in a detailed examination of a specific community or singe case to explore their detail, context and understand complex phenomena. It involved collecting various data, such as documents or observations, and analysing them in a theoretical context to draw deeper conclusions about a given case. A detailed analysis allowed for the conclusion that institutional support plays a key role in creating a favourable environment for the development of startups, offering them the necessary resources, knowledge and support, especially at the early stages of development. Monitoring the effectiveness of support activities and adapting strategies to changing conditions are crucial for the success of startups in a dynamically developing business ecosystem.
