The model of care over a parturient during physiological childbirth

Woman’s nature is associated with pregnancy and childbirth. It determines her parental role. Childbirth is an intimate event in every woman’s life. This unique event of childbirth requires a great support on the part of the therapeutic team and the whole family. That is why a significant role in the correct development of family ties and the experience of labour and delivery is played by the midwife. The present work, apart from purely theoretical issues, i.e. those concerning the physiological childbirth, presents the model of care of the woman giving a physiological birth. The management of the parturient woman was presented as a model of care including the presentation of potential health problems as well as the aims of management and therapeutic plans aiming at the solution of the problems.

W kulturę i naturę kobiety jest wpisana ciąża i poród, których zadaniem jest determinowanie kobiety do podjęcia postawy rodzicielskiej. Czas porodu jest intymnym wydarzeniem w życiu każdej kobiety, to wielkie doświadczenie aktu narodzin wymaga ogromnego wsparcia ze strony zespołu terapeutycznego i całej rodziny. Dlatego znaczącą rolę w prawidłowym kształtowaniu więzi rodzinnych i przeżywania porodu pełni położna.Praca ta oprócz treści czysto teoretycznych, tj. zagadnień dotyczących porodu fizjologicznego, ukazuje również, jak powinna wyglądać w praktyce opieka nad kobietą rodzącą fizjologicznie. Postępowanie z rodzącą zostało opracowane w formie modelu opieki, po przez przedstawienie możliwych do wystąpienia problemów zdrowotnych, wraz z celem postępowania oraz konkretnym planem działania mającym na celu rozwiązanie tych problemów.
