Postmodernism in Azerbaijani literature. Postmodern elements in the novellas of Kamal Abdulla

Celem niniejszej pracy licencjackiej jest analiza przejawów postmodernizmu we współczesnej prozie azerbejdżańskiej na przykładzie twórczości Kamala Abdulli. W pracy umówiono teoretyczne fundamenty postmodernizmu jako kierunku literackiego oraz przeanalizowano specyfikację rozwoju tego nurtu w kontekście literatury Azerbejdżanu. Kluczowa część pracy została poświęcona analizie struktury powieści „Zagadkowy rękopis” oraz „Dolina czarowników ”. W wyniku przeprowadzonej analizy ustalono obecność elementów postmodernistycznych,wśród których kluczową rolę odgrywają intertekstualność oraz metafikcja.

The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to analyze the manifestations of postmodernism in contemporary Azerbaijani prose, using the works of Kamal Abdulla as a case study. The thesis discusses the theoretical foundations of postmodernism as a literary movement and analyzes the specific development of this trend within the context of Azerbaijani literature. The core part of the work is dedicated to analyzing the structure of the novels "The Mysterious Manuscript" and "The Valley of the Wizards". As a result of the analysis, the presence of postmodern elements was demonstrated, among which intertextualism and metafiction play a key role.
