Evolution of succession rules in the Saudi monarchy

Celem niniejszej pracy jest ukazanie ewolucji reguł sukcesji w Arabii Saudyjskiej. W poszczególnych rozdziałach wyjaśniano czym jest monarchia oraz przedstawiono jej powszechną historię. Zostały podane także przykłady sukcesji w różniących się od siebie ustrojach monarchicznych. Praca skupia się w szczególności na zmianach zachodzących w dziedziczeniu tronu w Królestwie Arabii Saudyjskiej. Została przedstawiona geneza państwowości saudyjskiej oraz zasady i zmiany jakie zachodziły w kwestii sukcesji tego państwa. Przybliżono także krótką biografię oraz poczynania króla Arabii Saudyjskiej i jego syna, Muhammada ibn Salmana, który jest następnym pretendentem do tronu. Niniejsza praca licencjacka powstała na podstawie literatury historycznej i politycznej, dokumentów, a także licznych artykułach naukowych.

The purpose of this work is to show the evolution of the rules of succession in Saudi Arabia. In individual chapters the monarchy is explained and its common history is presented. Examples of succession in different monarchical regimes were also given. The work focuses in particular on the changes taking place in the inheritance of the throne in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The genesis of Saudi statehood, as well as the principles and changes that took place in the matter of the succession of that state were presented. A brief biography and the actions of the king of Saudi Arabia and his son, Muhammad bin Salman, who is the next contender to the throne, were also presented. This bachelor's thesis is based on historical and political literature, documents and numerous scientific articles.
